Christmas Shortbread
Nothing says Christmas like a sweet crumbly shortbread. Impress your grandma with our take on Christmas Shortbread that will be sure to wow her at Christmas lunch. Better yet if you’re stuck on Christmas gifts, these biscuits will be the perfect homemade gift.
Ingredients:
· 225g Butter
· 125g Castor Sugar
· 350g Flour
· 75g Cornflour
· ¼ tbsp Salt
Method:
1. Pre-heat oven to 150°C and line a baking tray with baking paper
2. Cream butter and sugar until pale and smooth
3. Add sifted flour, cornflour and salt into the mixture
4. Once combined place dough onto floured surface and knead well
5. Roll out 12 to 18mm thick
6. Cut into rectangular pieces, or use a cookie cutter to make Christmas shaped biscuits
7. Place biscuits onto pre-lined baking tray and bake for 30 minutes
